Do I have to audition to be in the choirs?

Not exactly.  If you wish to be in a vocal choir, you may join any children's choir, Youth Choir or Chancel Choir without audition.  Participation in the Chamber Singers is by invitation of the Director of Music, Worship & Arts. Participation in Joyful Sound is by invitation of the director.  Participation in the Chancel Handbell Choir requires music reading ability and only a limited number of positions are available at any one time.

Are there any requirements for being in the vocal choirs?

Yes, but the requirements are very simple.  You need only have a heart for singing and be willing to attend the weekly rehearsals and worship services.

Are there any paid positions in the choirs?

Not at this time.  All participants in all choirs, ensembles and instrumental groups are volunteers.

Can I see the insides of the pipe organ?

Yes.  You need only contact the Director of Music, Worship & Arts and he will be happy to give you a tour of the interior of the instrument.
